Kirstenbosch Gardens

Located on Rhodes Drive in the Newlands neighborhood.

Showcasing a great biodiversity of African botany and indigenous forest species, there are many scenic walks in the gardens such as the Fynbos Walk, Van Riebeeck’s Hedge, Camphor Avenue, The Mathews Rockery, Cycad Amphitheatre, Arboretum and Pelargonium Gardens. South African Artist Dylan Lewis’ works are displayed in the Sculpture gardens alongside a famous bust of Nelson Mandela by John Francis Gardner.
